Birds - Indian Mynas

Common Indian Mynas were originally brought into Australia to control insect pests in gardens, however they have since established feral populations throughout the country.

Indian Mynas are clever and aggressive birds that can damage crops, spread mites and spread disease to dometic animals as well as people. They commonly nest in the roofs of houses and their accumulated droppings are a breeding ground for disease.
